Following a recent strategic merger and significant growth within Private Client and Court of Protection workstreams, a specialist claimant costs practice is expanding its senior team. This is a key strategic hire for someone able to operate independently, manage complex caseloads and potentially support wider team development as the department continues its structured growth.

• ·Run high-value claimant files cradle to grave
• ·Draft and manage complex Bills of Costs
• ·Prepare and manage Budgets (Precedent H)
• ·Draft Points of Reply and conduct negotiations
• ·Support junior team members where required
• ·Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships
• ·Potentially support business development initiatives

• ·Claimant-side costs experience only
• ·Ability to run files fully cradle to grave
• ·Strong technical drafting competency
• ·Budget drafting, Points of Reply and negotiations experience essential
• ·Work is predominantly Court of Protection, Private Client & Probate and litigation-related costs (minimal fixed-costs exposure)
