The firm specialises exclusively in claimant personal injury and clinical negligence work, has achieved 20% year-on-year growth and holds a 4.8 Trustpilot rating. The Head of Department is a Law Society accredited clinical negligence specialist and will support candidates through Law Society / AVMA accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • ·Manage a broad mix of clinical negligence work, both pre-issue and issued
  • ·Focus on higher-value, more complex claims against NHS Hospital Trusts and GPs (no dental)
  • ·Handle catastrophic injury work including amputee, brain and birth injury cases
  • ·Work with seriously injured claimants with empathy and understanding
  • ·Manage risk assessments required in clinical negligence work
  • ·Contribute to team success, marketing and business development

What We're Looking For

  • ·5+ PQE or qualified by experience
  • ·Experience of higher-value clinical negligence work
  • ·Proven billing track record on a mixed clinical negligence caseload including issued cases
  • ·Ability to hit KPIs; strong CPR and litigation skills
  • ·Excellent client care with genuine empathy and tenacity
  • ·Proclaim case management experience advantageous
  • ·Law Society / AVMA accreditation ideal but not essential
  • ·Strong PI candidates with high-value experience also considered
  • ·Willing to attend marketing and fundraising events; blog / marketing experience desirable
