About the Opportunity
A nationally recognised claimant practice with a market-leading reputation across several volume and complex claimant disciplines is appointing a Head of Litigation to lead its housing disrepair function. The team handles both pre-litigated and litigated matters at scale, and the incoming leader will own performance, quality and development across the department.
Responsibilities
- ·Lead and drive multiple sub-teams handling pre- and post-litigated housing disrepair matters
- ·Own capacity planning and ensure workloads are balanced fairly across fee earners
- ·Coach, develop and motivate team members through structured one-to-ones and team meetings
- ·Maintain a consistently high standard of client care and technical quality
- ·Drive departmental KPIs, throughput and financial performance
- ·Act as a visible ambassador for the firm's culture and values
What We're Looking For
- ·Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5+ years PQE
- ·Demonstrable expertise in Housing Disrepair and Civil Litigation
- ·Proven track record of leading and supervising litigation teams
- ·Strong technical grounding in the CPR and Housing Conditions case law
- ·Personal Injury exposure would be advantageous but is not essential
- ·Confident working to targets while maintaining exceptional client care
