About the Opportunity

A nationally recognised claimant practice with a market-leading reputation across several volume and complex claimant disciplines is appointing a Head of Litigation to lead its housing disrepair function. The team handles both pre-litigated and litigated matters at scale, and the incoming leader will own performance, quality and development across the department.

Responsibilities

  • ·Lead and drive multiple sub-teams handling pre- and post-litigated housing disrepair matters
  • ·Own capacity planning and ensure workloads are balanced fairly across fee earners
  • ·Coach, develop and motivate team members through structured one-to-ones and team meetings
  • ·Maintain a consistently high standard of client care and technical quality
  • ·Drive departmental KPIs, throughput and financial performance
  • ·Act as a visible ambassador for the firm's culture and values

What We're Looking For

  • ·Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5+ years PQE
  • ·Demonstrable expertise in Housing Disrepair and Civil Litigation
  • ·Proven track record of leading and supervising litigation teams
  • ·Strong technical grounding in the CPR and Housing Conditions case law
  • ·Personal Injury exposure would be advantageous but is not essential
  • ·Confident working to targets while maintaining exceptional client care
