About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an entry-level Associate to join its sophisticated, Chambers-ranked Capital Markets practice in New York. The team is interested in recent 2026 law school graduates seeking a full-time position beginning this fall who have a demonstrated interest in structured finance. The ideal candidate will have exposure to or familiarity with structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements and financing arrangements. The successful candidate will become an integral member of a dedicated team and will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex capital markets and structured finance matters.
Responsibilities
- ·Represent purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies and private companies in structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements and financing transactions
- ·Draft and negotiate transaction documents and agreements
- ·Communicate with clients and transaction counterparties
- ·Work collaboratively to manage closings
- ·Support the wider Capital Markets practice as needed
What We're Looking For
- ·Recent 2026 law school graduate seeking a full-time position beginning this fall
- ·Demonstrated interest in structured finance, with exposure to or familiarity with structured finance transactions a plus
- ·Strong academic credentials, including a law school transcript submitted with application
- ·Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
