About the Opportunity
A Legal 500 firm is expanding its Credit Hire litigation team and is seeking experienced Solicitors or Fee Earners to manage a varied caseload of litigated matters. The role offers real ownership of files from commencement of proceedings through to trial, backed by an established support structure.
Responsibilities
- ·Manage a caseload of litigated fast-track and multi-track credit hire claims
- ·Handle liability admitted and disputed matters end to end
- ·Ensure compliance with court directions, court orders and internal protocols
- ·Keep credit hire providers regularly updated and maintain strong hire-company relationships
- ·Negotiate settlements and progress matters to trial where required
- ·Maintain accurate records through the case management system
What We're Looking For
- ·Proven experience handling Credit Hire claims (essential)
- ·Able to manage a full caseload of RTA claims through to resolution
- ·Strong working knowledge of Credit Hire case law, MOJ protocols, Pre-Action Protocol and the CPR
- ·Solid understanding of the personal injury claims process and costs
- ·Experience with Proclaim (desirable)
- ·Experience of infant approval hearings (desirable)
