About the Opportunity
A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with between two and four years' PQE to join its growing Leeds team. The team advises owner-managed businesses, SMEs and large corporates across a wide range of sectors and is recognised for delivering high-quality work on domestic and international transactions. This is an opportunity to build a well-rounded corporate practice in a collaborative environment that offers early responsibility, strong support and genuine long-term progression.
Responsibilities
- ·Act on domestic and international M&A transactions
- ·Support clients on private equity investments, restructures and wider corporate advisory matters
- ·Manage smaller matters independently, with appropriate supervision as required
- ·Support Partners and Legal Directors on larger and more complex transactions
- ·Work on matters typically valued between £5m and £100m+
- ·Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across specialist teams
- ·Contribute to business development activity and grow your professional network
What We're Looking For
- ·Qualified Corporate Solicitor with between two and four years' PQE
- ·Established experience acting on M&A transactions
- ·Strong technical corporate law knowledge and commercial awareness
- ·Experience managing your own workload and contributing effectively to transactions
- ·Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- ·Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within a high-performing team
- ·Ambition to develop expertise across the full spectrum of corporate work
