The firm specialises exclusively in claimant personal injury, has achieved 20% year-on-year growth and holds a 4.8 Trustpilot rating. The OL/PL team is growing and is hiring a Senior Solicitor to manage a high-quality litigated caseload.
Responsibilities
- ·Manage a caseload of OL/PL claims from cradle to grave
- ·Handle pre-issue and litigated fast-track and multi-track matters
- ·Conduct legal research and provide clear, commercial legal advice
- ·Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents
- ·Negotiate settlements with opponents and insurers
- ·Progress cases efficiently through litigation and represent clients at court where required
- ·Collaborate with colleagues and support junior team members
- ·Keep up to date with developments in relevant law and practice
What We're Looking For
- ·Qualified Solicitor, CILEX or equivalent experience (5-8+ PQE)
- ·Proven track record on a litigated OL/PL claimant caseload
- ·Experience handling cases from inception to trial or disposal
- ·Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- ·Fast-track and multi-track OL/PL experience
- ·Claims portal experience (essential)
- ·Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- ·Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- ·Commercial, client-focused approach
- ·Proclaim experience advantageous
