The firm specialises exclusively in claimant personal injury, has achieved 20% year-on-year growth and holds a 4.8 Trustpilot rating. The OL/PL team is growing and is hiring a Senior Solicitor to manage a high-quality litigated caseload.

Responsibilities

  • ·Manage a caseload of OL/PL claims from cradle to grave
  • ·Handle pre-issue and litigated fast-track and multi-track matters
  • ·Conduct legal research and provide clear, commercial legal advice
  • ·Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents
  • ·Negotiate settlements with opponents and insurers
  • ·Progress cases efficiently through litigation and represent clients at court where required
  • ·Collaborate with colleagues and support junior team members
  • ·Keep up to date with developments in relevant law and practice

What We're Looking For

  • ·Qualified Solicitor, CILEX or equivalent experience (5-8+ PQE)
  • ·Proven track record on a litigated OL/PL claimant caseload
  • ·Experience handling cases from inception to trial or disposal
  • ·Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • ·Fast-track and multi-track OL/PL experience
  • ·Claims portal experience (essential)
  • ·Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
  • ·Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • ·Commercial, client-focused approach
  • ·Proclaim experience advantageous
