A nationally recognised claimant practice is expanding its Professional Negligence team in Liverpool. The role offers a broad and technically stimulating caseload, sitting within a niche discipline that forms part of a wider, highly successful national group.

• ·Manage your own caseload of professional negligence claims with supervision
• ·Handle a blend of long-established files and new matters, including multi-million pound claims
• ·Advise across solicitors', construction, surveyors' and accountants' negligence
• ·Progress matters in line with the Civil Procedure Rules
• ·Work as part of a team on grouped instructions and support the Head of Department on larger cases
• ·Meet time-recording and fee-recovery targets

• ·Grade A or B fee earner, comfortable running your own caseload
• ·Background in Professional Negligence or general civil litigation / dispute resolution, including pre-issue and litigated experience
• ·Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
• ·Experience with Proclaim or a comparable case management system
• ·IT literate and confident meeting time-recording and fee-recovery targets
