STEP-qualified Legal Director joining an expanding Private Wealth team advising high and ultra-high net worth clients on Wills, succession planning, trusts, estates and cross-border matters.

About the Opportunity
The Private Wealth team is expanding and looking for a STEP-qualified Legal Director with at least 8 years' private wealth experience. The practice advises on the most appropriate structures for Wills, complex family arrangements, cross-border interests and the creation, administration and taxation of trusts, working closely with the Corporate team on business succession.
Responsibilities
- ·Manage a broad Private Client caseload including Wills, Succession Planning, IHT planning, Trusts, Administration of Estates and LPAs
- ·Advise HNW and UHNW individuals and business owners, often with cross-border issues
- ·Handle high value and complex deceased estates, including contentious administrations
- ·Lead on strategic business development and team supervision
- ·Contribute to firm-wide projects, learning and development
What We're Looking For
- ·Minimum 8 years' relevant experience as a solicitor or legal executive at highly regarded regional or national firms
- ·Experience working with high and ultra-high net worth clients
- ·Strong expertise across lifetime planning, estates, IHT planning and probate
- ·Experience administering contentious probate matters
- ·Proven track record supervising members of a team with complex caseloads
- ·Ideally STEP qualified (or equivalent qualifications/experience)
- ·Strong cross-border experience particularly welcomed
