Private Wealth Legal Director

The Private Wealth team is expanding and looking for a STEP-qualified Legal Director with at least 8 years' private wealth experience. The practice advises on the most appropriate structures for Wills, complex family arrangements, cross-border interests and the creation, administration and taxation of trusts, working closely with the Corporate team on business succession.

• ·Manage a broad Private Client caseload including Wills, Succession Planning, IHT planning, Trusts, Administration of Estates and LPAs
• ·Advise HNW and UHNW individuals and business owners, often with cross-border issues
• ·Handle high value and complex deceased estates, including contentious administrations
• ·Lead on strategic business development and team supervision
• ·Contribute to firm-wide projects, learning and development

• ·Minimum 8 years' relevant experience as a solicitor or legal executive at highly regarded regional or national firms
• ·Experience working with high and ultra-high net worth clients
• ·Strong expertise across lifetime planning, estates, IHT planning and probate
• ·Experience administering contentious probate matters
• ·Proven track record supervising members of a team with complex caseloads
• ·Ideally STEP qualified (or equivalent qualifications/experience)
• ·Strong cross-border experience particularly welcomed
