About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading law firm in Bromley, well regarded for delivering exceptional, personalised legal services across a wide range of sectors. As the firm continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Solicitor to join their dynamic Housing Management Department, reporting to the Head of Department. The role is fee-earning with genuine scope to develop, contribute profitably to the department and consistently exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • ·Provide clients with a dedicated, professional service in line with the firm's client care standards
  • ·Run your own busy housing management caseload, including some leasehold matters, meeting all deadlines
  • ·Support and assist senior staff on large and complex matters
  • ·Manage the support services for which you are responsible, including supervision of junior staff
  • ·Engage fully in marketing and networking activities on a firm-wide, departmental or office basis
  • ·Maintain financial control of your own ledgers, including cash flow, monies on account and billing
  • ·Assist in the implementation of the firm's case management system
  • ·Undertake job-specific training and contribute to training events for clients
  • ·Ensure the confidentiality of the firm's and clients' documentation and information
  • ·Undertake advocacy if required

What We're Looking For

  • ·Strong experience in a housing management legal department, in a solicitors' firm or in-house
  • ·Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • ·Strong technical ability with a keen eye for detail
  • ·Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • ·Enthusiastic, self-motivated and commercially aware
  • ·Working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • ·Flexible approach to work and time, with the ability to prioritise and re-schedule a caseload to meet deadlines
