About the Opportunity

A new opportunity has arisen in the Employment and Business Immigration team due to growth. The ten-strong team prides itself on pragmatic, commercial advice and early intervention to protect clients' interests. The role supports a diverse client base across many sectors on the full range of people-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • ·Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters and general advisory work
  • ·Manage your own caseload and client relationships
  • ·Support transactional teams including corporate, commercial, and business restructuring and insolvency
  • ·Support senior colleagues on complex matters whilst mentoring Associates and Trainees
  • ·Assist with business development initiatives
  • ·Design and deliver in-person and virtual training and presentations

What We're Looking For

  • ·Minimum 3 years' PQE as an employment law specialist in a busy, highly regarded department
  • ·Experience gained predominantly representing employers (very little Claimant work)
  • ·Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
  • ·Industrial relations experience an advantage but not essential
  • ·Motivated, commercially minded team player, calm under pressure and adaptable to change
